Houghton and Bruce (McKechnie Section 5)

Although Houghton and Bruce are better known for their work on plaster, on their trade label they refer only to profiles reduced for jewellery setting. I have seen no examples, but some must have been painted, and like Houghton's independent work of this type, would have been painted on ivory. Examples might be identified from the technical characteristics shown also by the artists' work on plaster.
