Recorded by Jackson (Dictionary), whose information was repeated by Mayne. Jackson dates Catchpole to c. 1820 and describes him as a painter and a cutter. She mentions a silhouette owned by a Mrs Cameron, and records a large trade label, but does not give the wording.
