In an advertisement quoted in Section Two Mrs Kelfe mentions 'enamelling on glass' as one type of work which she offers. No examples are known, but should any come to light, they might be expected to show a similarity in style to the artist's work on paper, and might date from the 1780s. The problem presented by the term 'enamelling on glass' is discussed in Chapter Two.
